The court refused the rebellious Lieutenant Colonel in compensation of $5 thousand and reinstatement in work.

The court of the Tsentralny District of Minsk denied the suit of the former head of the OOPP Krycheu ROVD, Lieutenant Colonel Ihar Vusik who sought the revocation of disciplinary punishment and reinstatement in work in the Interior Ministry, tut.by informs.

Ihar Vusik demanded to reinstate him in work and to collect 10 thousand Belarusian rubles as compensation for moral harm from the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The court dismissed the claim.

Ihar Vusik is convinced that his dismissal was illegal, an official version of his dismissal - he violated the procedure for working with media. After the trial he said that he would appeal the decision.

- The Interior Ministry does not like to wash its dirty linen in public. It is clear that the scapegoat is the one who did it. There were 11 employees who complained, three were fired, but we know that they are right.

It will be recalled that in early February the Department of Law Enforcement and Prevention (OOPP) of the Kricheu ROVD wrote a collective appeal to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Ihar Shunevich asking to conduct an inspection against the head of the police department Stanislau Chupryn. 11 people including Ihar Vusik signed the appeal.

The policemen wrote that "a negative situation in the Krycheu ROVD" related with "numerous official misconducts by their heads" made them do it. Several inspections were carried out. Afterwards, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Belarus Ihar Shunevich stated that "as a result, there was a violation of discipline and departmental normative legal acts both on the part of the head of the district department and on the part of the complainant." They were both subject to disciplinary action. In addition, another official inspection was appointed on the fact of dissemination of information in the media "with violations of the requirements of internal regulations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs."

After the agency check, Lieutenant Colonel Ihar Vusik and Lieutenant Andrei Shashkou (he also signed the letter) were fired from the department. The press service of the Mahilyou Regional Department of Internal Affairs informs that the check revealed facts of gross and willful violation "of contractual conditions about the service and requirements of the departmental normative legal acts on the interaction of the Internal Affairs Department with the media".
