Stanislau Shushkevich: Victims, Slaughterers Cannot Be Together

The first leader of the independent Belarus spoke about the World Congress of Belarusians.

Chairman of the Supreme Council of the 12th convocation Stanislau Shushkevich, who solemnly opened the 1st World Congress of Belarusians, revealed his opinion about the current Congress, Radio Liberty reports.

- This is a good Congress. I like most of the people here, most of them. However, when they state that victims and slaughterers should be together, I cannot get this. And today, those who are defending the Belarusian regime, they came to this Congress with exactly these slogans. We need to be honest, down with lies. I am speaking about the words of Makei, Krauchanka,” – Stanislau Shushkevich said.
