Details Of Barysau Policemen’s Rebellion Revealed

Three Barysau district police inspectors no longer go to work.

It was reported a few days ago that several police officers of the Barysau district police department applied for dismissal under own wish, but the administration ignored the documents. As a result, some of the poilicemen who wanted to resign simply stopped going to work, expecting to be fired for failed attendance.

Spokesman for the Administration of Internal Affairs of the Minsk Regional Executive Committee Yauhen Sachok confirmed to the website ex-press.by, that three Barysau district police inspectors had indeed ceased to go to work and would be fired. According to him, there previously were claims to all the three policemen for poor performance of official duties.

According to non-confirmed information, district police inspector of the Barysau district police department Ihar Siarmiazhka has become one of the “rebels”.

The journalist decided to double-check the information and called the security station “Yubileiny”, located in the “China Wall” – 50 Years of BSSR Street, 1. The number of this station was indicated on the website of the Barysau District Executive Committee as a contact number of district police inspector Ihar Siarmiazhka (his name disappeared from the list of district police inspectors today – edit.)

The telephone conversation with the policeman , who introduced himself as Dzmitry Mikalayevich, looked as follows:

— Good afternoon. How can I talk to district inspector Mr. Ihar Siarmiazhka?

— You can’t.

— Why?

— He doesn’t work here anymore.

— Who is in charge for his district?

— I have no idea. Do you want to?

The journalist though it would be better to refuse, just in case.

In fact, the work of the district police inspector is not the one everyone can handle orr like, despite obvious bonuses - a relatively good salary, retirement after 20 years of service, housing issues and so on. However, the everyday communication with not exactly the best representatives of our society on the one hand, a huge amount of work and management's requirements for the implementation of the achieved indicators - on the other hand, often lead to emotional burnout and other related problems. This is most likely what happened to the "rebels" from the Barysau district police department.

According to one of the graduates of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, who left the bodies and even changed his citizenship, the work of the district inspectors is the most difficult, this is the "bottom of the whole system". Many graduates of the Academy after receiving a diploma dream of a more interesting operational work, and get "thrust" in the districts. This is perceived as a "punishment", people file reports, hoping that they will be transferred sooner or later, but nothing changes.
