The court dismissed administrative proceedings against the blogger due to the lack of evidence of crime.

The Homel court closed the administrative case against blogger Maksim Filipovich due to the lack of evidence of crime. It was reported on Facebook by public activist Andrei Stryzhak, Euroradio informs.

Filipovich was tried for resonant videos about the tax on "parasitism" and streams from protest rallies in different cities of Belarus. Homel policemen drew up a protocol against the videoblogger, accusing him that "in view of the growing popularity of his television channel, Maksim Filipovich actually substitutes the state media, thus forming the public opinion of the citizens of the Republic of Belarus".

Filipovich did not plead guilty at the trial.

Regional executive committee expert Pavel Barysau reported at the trial, that Filipovich’s video channel No Guarantees on Youtube could not be considered a media outlet and the registration of such channels is not provided by law.
