Atlant Plant Sends Workers On Forced Leaves

There’s no activity at the Minsk refrigeration plant Atlant.

An enterprise employee informed Charter97.org about that.

"Good afternoon. I am an employee of the CJSC Atlant. From July 24 to August 7, there will be no activity again at the plant at Winners Avenue 61. There have already been 3 weeks of New Year's holidays + a week in March.

It is a precedent. Usually summer is a hot season for the plant. And here there’s such a situation ... I'm afraid to think what is going to be in autumn and in winter. The order was given for signing on the last day, although they were obliged to do it a month earlier.

The salary has fallen from 600 to 450 rubles for the year. I’m going to leave, needless to say..." – the Atlant worker wrote to the editor.
