Investigative Committee "Earned" Almost $ 38 Million For Six Months

IC has summed up the results for the first six months of 2017.

Several facts were voiced. For example, in the first half of the year more than half of the criminal cases (namely 51.7%) were investigated within one month, Euroradio reports.

Prosecutors returned for additional investigation 1.2% of cases, and the courts found violations in the work of investigators in only 0.6% of cases. According to IC chairman Ivan Naskevich, this is not much.

But the amount that the Investigative Committee has "earned" for 6 months, is impressive. It is about 74 million rubles – $ 37.9 million. This is the money, which the people under investigation returned to the state as compensation for the damage.
