Some guests of the Minsker who was shot by a police officer were completely sober and made statements in court.

The Maskouski district court of Minsk held the first hearing on a high-profile case of shooting on New Year's Eve in the entrance of the house in Liubimau Street – 23-year-old police officer Ruslan Salauyou shot 28-year-old local resident Andrei Haurosh, who is now tried for attacking the gunman.

According to the prosecution, Haurosh, being drunk, attacked Sergeant Salauyou, tried to seize his gun and the latter started shooting. The court is trying to gain insight on the case, many interesting details come up, kp.by writes.

The court has already interrogated the police officer, who is considered the victim in the case. According to the defendant's lawyer, some of the MIA officer’s testimonies were significantly different from the previous version. They also summoned the neighbor who called the police and her husband, who asked to turn down the music at that night.

Then the wife of Andrei Haurosh – the person shot by the police officer - spoke:

– We celebrated the New Year, there were eight people - all married couples. In total, our company drank four or five bottles of vodka over the night. Well, there also was champagne, of course. At about two o'clock in the morning, we went to the festivities near the Christmas tree mounted in our microdistrict and we spent some time there. Then we returned and sat at the table, talked, drank and ate. The neighbor rang at the door and asked me to make the music quieter – we did so. And closer to the morning, somebody rang the doorbell, the husband came out and closed the door behind him. Two claps were heard, I did not understand at first what was going on. Then I saw Andrei – he was lying on the floor of the corridor and was bleeding, moaning, – Anastasiya Haurosh said and could not fight back her tears.

The other guests were interviewed at the trial as well. It became clear that not all of them had been drunk. For example, the test of one of the guests showed that he had had 0.4 ppm – it's a bit more than the allowable amount, when you can get behind the wheel. And one of the girl's husband was completely sober. He explained at the trial that after he had left the apartment, he had seen and well remembered the policeman – his uniform not damaged and no traces of blood, too.
