Ukraine To Give Lifelong Scholarship To Mikhail Zhyzneuski’s Parents
MIKHAIL ZHYZNEUSKI

The 25-year-old Heavenly Hundred hero died from a wound in the heart during the Revolution of Dignity.

Censor.net.ua reports with reference to the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine that with the adoption of changes to paragraph 4 of the Order of payment of a lifetime scholarship in commemoration of Mikhail Zhyzneuski, approved by the Cabinet of Ministers by Resolution No. 139 of February 24, 2016, the parents of the Heavenly Hundred hero, a citizen of Belarus, will received a lifelong scholarship via a bank account opened in an authorized bank on the territory of Ukraine.

At the same time, the Social Protection Department of the Chernihiv District State Administration determined the terms of transferring the lifelong scholarship to the bank account.

We remind that on January 22, 2014, 25-year-old Zhyzneuski was lethally wounded in the heart during the Revolution of Dignity. Siarghei Harbatsiuk, the head of the Special Investigation Department of the Prosecutor General's Office, stated that in January 2014, EuroMaidan activists Roman Senik and Mikhail Zhyzneuski were killed by bullets used to stop vehicles by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko awarded posthumously the title of Hero of Ukraine to Mikhail Zhyzneuski and presented the Star of Hero of Ukraine to his parents – Mikhail and Nina Zhyzneuski.
