The Rosselkhoznadzor head commented on the new bans on Belarusian products.
Sergei Dankvert, the head of the supervisory agency, reported on Wednesday that Rosselkhoznadzor had banned deliveries from another dairy plant, the BDG informs.
According to him, on August 4, remains of lincomycin were found in the curd of the OJSC Maladzechna Dairy Plant again, and Rosselkhoznadzor was forced to impose restrictions from August 10.
In addition to this ban, the department introduced the regime of enhanced laboratory control over Hrodna meat-packing plant products, as ciprofloxacin and enrofloxacin were found in its pork.
According to Dankvert, Belarusian colleagues still have a lot to do in order to bring the livestock production to a proper level. He notes that hundreds of millions of rubles are needed to acquire laboratory equipment to come up with the Russian level of expertise.
"We tried to develop our laboratory base. And they developed production. And, having developed the production, they face the fact that it is impossible to provide it with the laboratory control," – Dankvert says.
We remind that the bans on deliveries from Belarus enterprises are constantly observed. So, since July 25, the import of products from two Belarusian enterprises has been prohibited on the territory of Russia, the products of another six have been taken under special, strengthened control.
