The Inspectorate controls the fulfillment of the dictator's orders by the Ministry of Defence.

Yesterday, August 1, Lukashenka signed Decree No. 273 on appointment of new Chief of the main Military Inspectorate of the Armed Forces.

Now the Inspectorate is headed by Colonel Ivan Bahuslauski, BelTA informs. Prior to that, Ivan Bahuslauski functioned as Chief of the main Military Inspection of the Armed Forces of the country.

By the way, the main Military Inspectorate of the Belarusian Military Forces was founded twenty-five years ago in 1992. It is engaged in the control of work of the Ministry of Defence It pays special attention to control the implementation of state programs, Lukashenka's orders, decisions of the Council of Ministers, orders and resolutions of the Defence Ministry's board and decisions of the Minister.

The activity to predict and prevent possible violations, check the legality of the use of equipment, and implement plans for training troops in full are of high priority.

It will be recalled that in September military exercises "West-2017" with Russia will be held in Belarus.
