Belarusians should learn how to live without Lukashenka’s idiotic statements.

The authorities are doing their best to distract Belarusians from the economic crisis and everyday problems. Massive “struggle for harvest”, populist statements and pseudo-achievements. Belarusian journalist Iryna Khalip wittily noticed that Lukashenka spammed the whole informational space of our country. The Charter97.org asked famous Belarusian blogger Yauhen Lipkovich whether Lukashenka’s new “inventions” were worth our attention, and how to learn to filter the “media spam”.

— Yesterday, the Belarusian machine-builders reported that the ‘long-expected” Belarusian e-car was ready. However, the point is, there’s no infrastructure for e-cars in Belarus. All this doesn’t seem logical.

— Don't worry here, they will place sockets all over the country, where it is needed and where not. There's another question here: in the whole world demand generates supply, and in Belarus it's vice versa. They are building the Belarusian NPP, there will be too much electricity soon, electricity needs to be consumed and then they focused on making an electric vehicle. In my opinion, progress does not work that way. The primary reason for the development of this industry should be an increase in electricity consumption, but it turns out that the root cause is an overabundance. That’s clinical picture.

— Lukashenka seems to be jealous of Elon Musk’s fame – he said recently that Belarus was close to creation of a super harvester, that there was even concrete groundwork made by the Belarusian designers.

— Yes, he is jealous, that’s the point. The situation is simple: he once promised that Belarusian IT-pros would catch up with and outdo the Microsoft. He said this before the Belarusian students, who invented something. What was the result? They didn’t catch up with, and didn’t outdo the Microsoft either. All of us should learn how to live without Lukashenka, let him say whatever he wants. There’s no money, the rating fell at maximum, there’s no influence over Russia. So he is trying to attract our attention with his big mouth and idiotic statements.
