Rail Transport Carrying Military Equipment Found 8 Kilometers From Lithuania’s Borders

The West-2017 exercises are coming close to the European Union borders.

Independent observers found trains with military equipment at the Belarusian station Hudahai, 8 kilometers from the border with Lithuania.

"Trains with the military are in Hudahai (8 kilometers from the border with Lithuania)," - activists of the people's organization for observing the West-2017 military drills wrote.

We remind that the Belarusian blogger Eduard Palchys called for public control over the West-2017 exercises.

We also remind, that the Russian-Belarusian military drills West-2017 are to begin in Belarus in September. A record number of rail cars - over 4 thousand, - were used to transfer the Russian military. Many politicians and military experts believe that Russian troops will remain in Belarus after the exercises.

The Warning Action demanding the abolition of the exercises West-2017 will take place at 7 p.m. on September 8 in the Kastrychnitskaya Square in Minsk.
