"This Woodpecker with Accordion Will End up in a Bad Way"

People irate at Decree No. 3 say that it's better Lukashenka to resign.

Lukashenka just declared the revival of decree on "spongers", and it become one of the most discussed topics in the country.

The speech of Minister of Labour and Social Protection Iryna Kastsevich who told about some "amendments" to the decree added fuel to the fire.

In particular, the minister told about a new principle "you do not work - you pay for services". "These services are subsidized from the state budget. The list will be determined by the government, currently it works in this direction," Iryna Kastsevich said.

The publication of the minister's speech caused a burst of outrage among readers of Charter97.org.

The editorial office decided to publish the most popular comments:

"The robbery of the poorest and most defenseless comes to a new level. Besides that a person cannot find a normal job in Belarus, he is also tried to be "knocked out" with some "special" prices for services. It's unbelievable!", a reader resents.

"The state is obliged to create conditions for business and investments; then there will be a lot of jobs with a good salary. In this respect (and in others as well), the power is incompetent, but it can intimidate and twist arms. Belarusians are deprived of basic human rights, decent work and even pensions," a commentator severely assessed the initiative of the authorities.

"What 'social benefits' have we had? Please, answer. Free medical assistance is a complete lie. What if I'm not needed anywhere (I'm 54 years old)? How can I pay? Aren't you afraid that being hungry I can stab someone under a bridge? Will you share your salary with me? This woodpecker with accordion will end up in a bad way. It's seems like it's boring for them to live in luxury," a reader resents.

"All of his decrees should be put in a garbage pit. People, he must be stopped !! We have entered final straight: only one can be the winner in this game!", people burst with protest sentiments.

"1. If a "sponger" is provided with paid services, then it requires an agreement on them. And if, God forbid, services rendered are of poor-quality or provided not in full, then a "sponger" will have the right to sue.

2. Or may it be better just to replace idiots in power?", another reader speaks out proposals.

"What idiots do come up with it?! How can a person who lost job pay at an increased price!?", a reader writes.

Stop pulling the wool over our eyes. Things are coming to a head.

He is a clown. You'd better first deal with Russian military exercises. Beware lest you gone missing this autumn!", a commentator warns.

"And what's the catch? Now even those who work pay for everything! And let's you (the so-called "state") give me my contributions to the NSSF back, and I'll decide how to spend my money! You can even not pay me a pension, I can hardly live to it!", we cannot but agree with the reasonability of arguments of the next reader.

Lukashenka probably does not fully realize what kind of tinderbox he is trying to take. Spring protests were not enough. People will gladly take the Square and show who is the master in the country", a reminder about autumn protest actions became the leitmotif of comments.

"The truth I say is bitter. He must be exorcised. He has become a deterrent for most of us", a reader warns the dictator.
