Slavamir Adamovich Writes Continuance Of Sensational Poem

A famous writer and public figure spoke in Bobruisk.

Slavamir Adamovich is often called the first political prisoner in the contemporary history of Belarus because of the poem "Kill the President", after which in the late 90's the author was arrested. The residents of Babruisk were fortunate enough to hear the continuance of this poem, which the poet wrote just recently, Radio Racyja reports.

— During the meeting, I referred to this poem as a continuance of that first poem of mine, “Kill the President”. I once showed a poetic political performance here. Why in Russian? Because this is how I wanted to express the ultimate degree of revolt, despise. Unfortunately, that first poem “Kill the President” has remained actual for over 23 years by now. I will be happy when it finally ceases to be actual,” — Adamovich told.

During the meeting, he presented the Babruisk dwellers with his first autobiographical novel "The Price of Europe or Wilman's Stories," based on his own experience of almost a decade of living in Norway.
