Another $5 Mln Allocated On Hospital For Lukashenka

The money was taken from the city budget of Minsk.

Today, the "deputies" of the Minsk City Council approved the adjustment of the investment program of Minsk for 2017. In particular, they redistributed funds between spheres and objects of the investment program, tut.by reports.

For example, the "deputies" increased funding for the construction of a medical clinical center in Zhdanovichy, which is widely known as a treatment commission.

The additional funds amounted to Bn 9,6 million, or about $ 4,94 million. According to the passport of the facility, Lukashenka's hospital will be delivered by the end of 2017. At present, the work on the future hospital for the officials is close to completion.

The dictator signed the Decree on the construction of a special hospital for the officials in the village of Zhdanovichy near Minsk back in 2014. The construction began a year later. The new medical center will have the same departments as in the old treatment commission, and will have the latest equipment, both medical and diagnostic. A whole VIP-block with separate entrances, and an elevator are also planned. It has its own kitchen, dining room, rest rooms, security rooms and the medical staff room. The estimated cost of the facility is about EUR 100 million.

Also, the "deputies" sent more money for the construction of the Olympic Training Center in Rhythmic Gymnastics, which should open on March 8, 2018.

In addition, about Bn 53,2 million from the innovation fund of the Minsk City Executive Committee will be directed to the construction of the third line of the Minsk metro.
