"Heart" of the Argentine Artist Alarmed the Minsk Authorities

People in plain clothes took Francesco Bosoletti off the hoisting machine when he started painting a mural.

Argentine artist Francesco Bosoletti who came to Minsk on the international street art-plein air Urban Myths was detained. Journalist Raman Pratasevich wrote on Twitter.

Raman Pratasevich told tut.by the painter used the hoisting machine to work on the mural. His friend who also comes from Argentine helped him. Organizer of the Urban Myths open-air painting Aleh Larycheu began to paint his project without coordination with the city authorities since he might not have enough time to accomplish the work.

According to Pratasevich, during work Bosoletti's friend went to a neighboring cafe. At this time a car drove up to the house where the artist was drawing the mural and people in plain clothes came out. They asked for Francesco's passport. They looked through the document and detained the artist and took him away. According to information of Aleh Larycheu, Bosoletti was taken to Oktyabrsky RYVD of Minsk.

The information about the detention can be neither confirmed nor belied.

It will be recalled that at the public discussion the head of the Tsentralny district Ihar Buzouski noted with regret that the issue was opened. It reality, it may happen that the work is accomplished sooner than it is coordinated.
