Public activist Maryna Nasenka wrote a letter to the convict under the Article 328 and received a touching response:

"Hello, Marina.

First of all I want to tell you many thanks for your letter and for the words of support. I was very glad to read these words. And thanks for the postcard.

Yes, the system is "tough and fair", but I still hope that I will prove in court that I did not sell anything to anyone. When I got acquainted with the case I laughed, there was only untruth and slander in it. I think, well, I rather hope that the judge is adequate and he will consider my case.

It's very interesting for me to write to you, when a stranger writes a letter and gives his support. I have a question, have there been any cases when the cases under the Part 3 of the Article 328 were considered in justice?

And how old are you? I know that it's unseemly to ask. About the "stars on epaulets" – that’s the bare truth. I know personally and I've heard with my ears and seen with my own eyes how the employees of the drug control work in Zhlobin work. Witnesses are taken from nowhere, etc. But I'm sure that you know it yourself.

I hope we will continue to communicate, because no one writes to me except my beloved mother. Although there were so many "friends" around.

We remind that due to the stubborn struggle, activist of the Mother-328 movement forced the authorities to "back up": thanks to the self-denying struggle of the women, the discriminatory legislation in respect of convicts under the Article 328 can be changed.
