The ex-head of the district executive committee was released from responsibility under the decree of the dictator.

The prosecutor's office of the Brest region terminated the criminal case against ex-chairman of the Kamianets District Executive Committee Andrei Pisaryk, who was accused of exceeding and abusing official powers, tut.by reports.

As the investigators established, the former official from December 2009 to December 16, 2015 gave illegal instructions to the heads of a number of economic entities of the Kamianets district to provide him with gratuitous material values and services. By his actions, he caused damage worth a little more than Bn 4 thousand.

In addition, from January 3, 2012 to December 2, 2015, he repeatedly used cars of the Kamianets District Executive Committee for trips for non-official purposes, which caused significant damage to the state and public interests, as well as to the Kamianets District Executive Committee for a total amount of Bn 3,030.

With respect to the former head, criminal proceedings were instituted under the articles for excess of official powers (part 3 of Article 424 of the Criminal Code) and abuse of official powers (Part 3, Article 426 of the Criminal Code).

In the course of the investigation, Andrei Pisaryk fully admitted his guilt, reimbursed the damage in full and appealed with a petition for pardon.

At the suggestion of the Commission for Pardon under the Lukashenka administration, Andrei Pisaryk made a voluntary contribution to the state's income of Bn 14,171.

By the decree of Lukashenka, the former chairman of the district executive committee was released from criminal liability under Part 3 of Art. 424 the Criminal Code and Part 3 of Art. 426 of the Criminal Code, and the prosecutor's office of Brest region terminated the criminal case.
