Outraged Mahiliou Dwellers Call Local Officials ‘Onto Carpet’

The residents of Mahiliou set their demands to the authorities.

On September 21, a meeting of the street committee of the residnets of the Padhornaya Street micro-zone was held. The representatives of the local authorities came to the meeting and reported on some measures, taken upon earlier appeals and complaints, Mahiliouski Region writes. The residents of the city had accumulated a number of claims and reprimands to the officials, which they openly declared.

During the meeting, various issues were raised, starting from personal problems, school “extortions”, ending with eternal and hard-to-solve issues connected with the state of roads and driveways. Sometimes the conversation turned into a hot dispute with mutual allegations.

Although the representatives of the road and communal services and the “deputy of the city council” didn’t come to the meeting to which they had been invited, the residents of the Padhornaya Street and the area hope that their voice will be heard.
