Expert: Only Putin Could Direct Kadyrov To Lukashenka

The visit to Minsk is the first official visit of the Chechen ruler outside the Russian Federation.

Dreams come true. Ramzan Kadyrov, who has repeatedly claimed that he wanted to come to Minsk and meet with Lukashenka personally, is staying in our capital. The governor of Belarus has met the Chechen head warmly, even brotherly! Moreover, he has said that he sees very serious tendencies to deepen relations. According to Kadyrov, when Lukashenka comes to Chechnya with a return visit, this will be the biggest holiday!

Anastasia Sergeeva from the organization For Free Russia told Belsat that with a visit to Lukashenka, Kadyrov started his international career.

"This is his first visit outside Russia with an official meeting, when he is recieved at the highest level."

In her opinion, Kadyrov is a little different from all the other leaders of the regions, and he has been showing it regularly enough for the last couple of years.

"Anyways, it all started with in 2015 with Nemtsov’s murder, which in one way or another is associated with Ramzan Kadyrov. It seems to me that after that he felt the prospect of growth. What else can a head of a region be? The head of Chechnya cannot go to the government, because he cannot take steps without permission from the Kremlin and Putin's personal permission. If Putin did not say no to him, then he allowed it."

Kadyrov's arrival resembles socialization, the guest of the program says.

"On the one hand, he is shown not only in Belarus. He is shown to Europeans due to Belarus – there is Chechnya over there, and it is our part."

"Everyone in Russia is used to the fact that there is Chechnya, it consumes a certain amount of money, this money does not return and will not return, but it is a payment for tranquillity and peace. Chechnya is like a black hole, into which Russians' money fails," – Anastasia Sergeeva says.
