Audience Applaudes Standing Up After Musicians Played ‘Pahonia’

The musicians got “Long Live Belarus!” as a curtain call.
A concert to mark Uladzimir Muliavin’s birthday took place on January 12 in the Belarusian State Philarmony, nn.by reports.
The “Flower Chain” songs cycle was played in Minsk for the fist time since 1991. The concert hall was crowded.
The National Academic Popular Orchestra named after I.Zhynovich played the hits by the Pesniary folk band. Aliaksandr Kremko was the conductor, solo parties were performed by Ivan Zhanchak, Viachaslau Isachenka and Andrei Kolasau.
The concert ended with the legendary “Pahonia”. After Ivan Zhanchak played it, the audience applauded standing up.
After this, all three solo musicians played “Pahonia” once again, responding to the “Long Live Belarus!” curtain call.
