He has been put on the international wanted list.

A few days ago, businessman Yury Averjanau was detained in Germany. A source informed kp.by about it. The Prosecutor General's Office confirmed the information.

– In October 2017, a package of documents regarding the extradition of this citizen was sent to Germany, and on January 18 he was detained, on the 21st he was placed in detention in the prospect of extradition. The extradition proceedings started. Measures were taken to ensure that the person wouldn’t hide from law enforcement agencies,"Dzmitry Bryliou, an official representative of the Prosecutor General's Office, says.

Chairman of the Investigation Committee Ivan Naskevich told reporters in October that Yury Averjanau had been put on the international wanted list. He was suspected of evading taxes.

– There were several firms, several cases, which have been stitched together into one procedure, and the final amount has not been eatablished yet, – Ivan Naskevich commented.

The Investigative Committee initiated a criminal case against Averjanau and other heads of commercial structures for tax evasion in September. Six people were detained, including the director of ZAO Tarhovy Mir – Kaltso and LLC Amusement Park Dreamland, the manager of the Madison Royal Club and others. Averjanau was not among the detainees.

Yury Averjanau is a businessman known as the founder of the Dreamland Amusement Park, co-founder of the bowling center and the Madison Club dance club and the Blindage Club.
