Henadz Fiadynich: Around 30 People Join Daily The Trade Union

The leader of the independent trade union visited Orsha.

Leader of independent REP Trade Union Henadz Fiadynich has recently been convicted to 4 years of home arrest and ban to hold senior positions, orsha.eu writes.

Human rights defenders and international Trade Union recognized the verdict as a political reprisal. Now the verdict is being appealed and the head of the trade union visits regions with trade union's structures.

Last weekend Fiadynich visited Orsha. Formal goal of the visit is to participate in trainings of trade union's members, but it started with the speech of Henadz Fiadynich.

He told about the "Trade Unions' case", thanked Orsha trade union's activists who presented at every court hearing. He also told about international assistance rendered to the REP. Though the state made attempts to bring down the leaders of the organization, they gave the opposite result. Around 30 people from regions join daily the trade union across the country.

Were Marches of Non-Parasites worth all this pressure? The answer of Henadz Fiadynich is positive. Moreover, the Trade Union intends to continue protest actions in future.
