Defenders Of Kurapaty Stopped Building Machinery In Tract

The bulldozer was excavating a trench right at the crosses.

In the morning of October 15, the defenders of Kurapaty saw that machinery was working in the tract. The bulldozer had excavated a trench, which was about 12 meters in length, defense coordinator, co-chairman of the Belarusian Christian Democracy Pavel Seviarynets has told nn.by.

“The machines are working right under the crosses. It's terrible. Only spade working is to take place here, since this is a protected zone,” – Seviarynets notes.

The trench has been excavated to drain water from the ring road. The Barauliany special forestry is performing the works. A tractor and a MAZ are working at the site as well.

Tomorrow, archaeologists will start working in Kurapaty.

As Radio Svaboda reports, the defenders of Kurapaty have managed to stop the works.
