Leanid Sudalenka: ‘Updated’ Version Of ‘Parasitic’ Decree Taking First Steps

They started “bringing Belarusians up with labor”.

Legal inspector of the REP trade union in the Homel region, laureate of the Charter’97 award Leanid Sudalenka posted the following on Facebook:

“Apparently, the “updated” version of the new-old parasitic decree is taking the first steps.

An “unemployed” programmer appointed a meeting with me. He was invited to the session of the so-called parasitic commission. The caller said they would “bring him up with labor”, which means, offer him a job.

He has something to lose – he bought an apartment in his name, they threaten to make him pay communal services in full scope.

So we decided not to go, keeping in mind the idea to bribe free from the state with one base fee in the form of craftsmanship registration. And, already in February, to finally find out what it is, what they frighten us Belarusians with – the 100% peyment for the communal and utility services.”
