Belarusian Having Car With Diplomatic Numbers Smuggled In Cigarettes To Lithuania

The car and cigarettes have been seized.

On October 19, Lithuanian customs officers found contraband property in a Volvo S80 car with diplomatic numbers. The car entered Lithuania from Belarus via the Medininkai checkpoint.

During the inspection, customs officers found 5 thousand 705 packs of cigarettes Minsk, Queen, Winston, Kent, NZ. Abw.by reports it with reference to the press service of the Lithuanian customs.

The customs officers contacted the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania. As it turned out, a citizen of Belarus was traveling by the car. The car and cigarettes were confiscated, the citizen of Belarus was released on bail.
