Dzmitry Paliyenka: I Ignore Lectures at the Police

Former political prisoner found a job.

Former political prisoner Dzmitry Paliyenka released on October 24 informed palitviazni.info about his new job and disregard of lectures at the police station of the Zavadski District of Minsk.

"I was at the police station several times, I had to spend more than an hour in the hall doing nothing. There were no lectures at all", he says.

Almost a month ago Dzmitry was released. According to the former political prisoner, he was told at the police that he had to appear daily at 5 pm (except Monday, Sunday and Saturday) at the police station and listen to "lectures on employment".

"I have already found a job and an unskilled worker," he says. - Perhaps, it's not the thing I want to be involved in, but at least I have a job. I intentionally ignore lectures after three idle visits there. Every time I spent there almost an hour and did nothing. There were no lectures. It's possible that it's the way to control me every day. Do these measures make any sense?"

Dmitry Paliyenka notes that he was earlier warned that if he did not appear on the lecture, then the protocol under Article 23.4 (Defiance of legal requirement of a police officer") would be drawn up.

"They said that no excuses were accepted, Paliyenka adds. - Regardless of it, I ignore lectures, and the police do not bother me."
