What diseases can now prevent you from driving a car?

The Decree of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus of December 6, 2018 #88 has already been published at the National Legal Portal. Its provisions will come into force in 15 days (at the same time the old decree #30 of February 16, 2016 will be canceled). The new document establishes a detailed list of diseases and contraindications with which a person is not allowed to operate motor vehicles, self-propelled vehicles, as well as the conditions under which individuals can drive nevertheless, writes Vecherniy Brest.

The ban on the operation of motor vehicles and self-propelled vehicles is applied in the presence of any of the following diseases or injuries: persistent diplopia of any etiology; defects of the bones of the skull (12 sq. cm and more) without operative plasty of the defect; chronic heart failure H IIB and H III according to Strazhesko-Vasilenko classification; sick sinus syndrome, braditachicardia syndrome; respiratory diseases with respiratory failure of III degree; malignant neoplasms of clinical group 4, etc.

The new decree of the Ministry of Health stipulates that women retain the right to operate vehicles of categories A and B (motor and auto) at any stage of pregnancy, but categories C, D, CE, DE, F, I and tractors of categories A - F will be unavailable already at the period of 12 weeks.
