New Electricity Tariffs Are In Place In Belarus

The decree comes into force after its official publication.

The Council of Ministers has changed by its decision the electricity tariffs, the press service of the government says.

For example, the flat rate electricity tariff in residential buildings (apartments) equipped with electric stoves will be 0.1218 rubles per 1 kW / h. The differentiated tariff for time periods will be as follows: during the minimum demand (from 22:00 to 17:00) – 0.0853 rubles per 1 kW / h, during maximum demand (from 17:00 to 22:00) – 0, 2436 rubles for 1 kW / h.

The electricity tariff for heating and water heating-up with an attached (total) equipment capacity of more than 5 kW (from 23:00 to 6:00) will be 0.1003 rubles per 1 kW / h in the period of the minimum demand, and during the rest of the day – 0 , 1863 rubles per 1 kW / h.

The tariff for electricity when used for heating and hot-water supply in apartment buildings that are not equipped with centralized heat and gas supply in accordance with the established procedure and are equipped with electric stoves in accordance with the established procedure, in the absence of an additional electric meter for heating and water heating-up will be 0.0687 rubles for 1 kW / h.

This resolution comes into force after its official publication. At that, the document has retroactive effect and extends its effect to the relations arising from December 1, 2018.
