Homel Residents Were Told About BPR Symbols

The 100th anniversary of the proclamation of the Belarusian People's Republic is approaching.

The socio-political center Na Palesskai hosted a lecture by historian Uladzimir Liakhouski about the symbols of the Belarusian People's Republic – flags, postage-stamps, passports, stamps, Homel Spring reports.

The present social and political activists learned about the historical events related to the formation of the BPR, the alignment of forces in the then Belarusian society, the external circumstances and forces that influenced the proclamation of Belarusian independence. A lot of information about BNR figures was reported: about their personal characteristics, their activities and fate.
