The cause of death of the 37-year-old heat-treating wood processor of the branch of the Pinsk Wood company was drowning. This was reported to tut.by in the regional council of the Society for Development of Water Transport and Passenger Safety.

However, the circumstances of the man's death remain unclear. The Investigatory Committee is conducting a check.

The accident happened on March 2 at the timber yard. The body of the man was found at about 7.50 in the pool in the section of the raw material heat treatment.

This is the second death from the beginning of 2018 at the Pinsk Wood holding company. On January 19, a 38-year-old veneer lumberer was fatally traumatized by the moving parts of the equipment at the production plant of Sperplat LLC.
