There's only one way to stop this delirium.
One of the leaders of the Belarusian National Congress Mikalai Statkevich wrote this on Facebook:
"We are marking the Constitution Day today. It was adopted in 1994. It was a good basic law. However, the president who was elected under it, cut the Constitution three times, having perverted its very spirit and sense.
It's true that something remained for the people in this re-designed Constitution: the right to free medicine and education, to normal wages, to real elections, to decent life. However, all these remain only on paper.
If we remain silent, he will throw our rights even out of the Constitution. There will be some hereditary monarchy here. They are already preparing "the Prince".
There's only one way to stop this delirium - to use the right to freedom of gatherings and demonstrations, which is envisaged by the Constitution so far.
The March of Dignity and Freedom starts at 12.00 on March in the Yakub Kolas Square in Minsk.
Power to the People!
Long Live Belarus!"
