As Katsiaryna Ludwih, the wife of the coordinator of the European Belarus Yauhen Afnahel, informed Сharter97.org, the authorities released six detainees, including the leaders of the Belarusian National Congress Yauhen Afnahel and Mikalai Statkevich.

Information about the release of Mikalai Statkevich was confirmed by his wife Maryna Adamovich. The politician managed to contact his wife on the phone.

Maryna Adamovich also reported that Uladzimir Niakliayeu, Maksim Viniarski, Yauhen Afnahel, Leanid Kulakou and Viachaslau Siuchyk were released together with Mikalai Statkevich.

We remind that on March 25, the Freedom Day, mass arrests took place on Yakub Kilas Square. People wanting to take part in the March of Dignity and Freedom were detained as well as the activists going to the event in Minsk.
