Protesters In Brest: We’ll Shower City Executive Committee With Papers

The "weapon" of the Belarusian bureaucrats will be turned against them.

Activists of the initiative to stop the battery plant construction held a special press conference in Brest. Activist and blogger Aliaksandr Kabanau told Belsat about it.

"The Brest City Executive Committee will simply be showered with applications for holding rallies and pickets. That is, we are now adhering to the framework of legislation. We will wait for answers from them, we will act strictly according to the law. Obviously, we will report the information on when we submitted the applications and for what kinds of events. We will simply shower them with these papers. And if our demands are not satisfied, thus violating the Constitution of Belarus, we will appeal to the Constitutional Court against the Brest City Executive Committee," – Aliaksandr Kabanau noted.
