Liudzmila Lapko: I Will Starve Until There’s Answer From Lukashenka's Administration
Liudzmila Lapko

A hunger strike is continuing in Lida with a demand to revise Article 328.

Liudzmila Lapko and Alena Mikaliuk continue to starve in Lida. Their sons are convicted under Article 328. Mothers demand to review the cases, Radio Racyja informs.

Lapko is already starving for the eighth day: "I went on a hunger strike together with the activists of Mothers 328. But due to the fact that it was decided to stop the hunger strike, I wrote an appeal to Lukashenka and asked to help dealing with my son's case. I'll starve until an answer from Lukashenka’s administration comes."

Meanwhile, other activists of the Mother 328 Movement stopped the hunger strike. Not least because one of their requirements has been fulfilled. The Council of Ministers has sent a bill on changing the narcotic article to the "House of Representatives". The responsibility for the distribution of drugs can be reduced.
