The trade union leaders continue to study the materials of the criminal case aganst them.

"We continue to study the materials of our criminal case in the Investigatory Committee," - Henadz Fiadynich, the leader of the independent trade union REP, told the website palitviazni.info. - The deadline for the acquaintance is June 8. After that, the case will go to the Prosecutor's Office, and then - to the court."

According to Fiadynich, the whole case consists of 11 volumes, each volume has more than 300 pages.

"So far, I've read only four volumes," - says Henadz Fiadynich. - Two volumes are only examinations reports. They took our computers, flash drives, analyzed them. By the way, I have a question for them, if you have already made an examination, if the investigation is completed, then why do not you return this equipment to us? Why complicating the work of the union? The investigators have one answer for this — wait till the trial is over. "

According to Fiadynich, the trial can be held at the end of next month or in July.

"I go to the investigators every day and study the case from morning till afternoon," - the leader of the REP trade union adds. "Ihar Komlik does the same thing."

Ihar Komlik was held in custod since August 2, 2017 over the criminal case against him and Chairman of the REP trade union Henadz Fiadynich, under Part 2 of Article 243 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus (evasion of payment of taxes, fees on a particularly large scale). On October 2, 2017, Ihar Komlik was released from the remand prison under a non-leave obligation.

According to the calculations of the Department of Financial Investigations of the State Control Committee, the amount of "unpaid taxes" is Bn 22867.1.

Henadz Fiadynich and Ihar Komlik face restriction of freedom for up to 5 years or imprisonment for a term of 3 to 7 years with possible confiscation of property.
