The Vice-Speaker of the "Council of the Republic" headed the women's parade of bikers in Minsk.

Vice-speaker of the "Council of the Republic" Marianna Shchetkina took part in the women's motor-parade. The event was organized by the female motor club AnGirls, established by the Belarusian Union of Women.

"Let's be honest, I have not driven a motorcycle for a long time. But I must say, of course, this is a certain drive, freedom, this is the road, this is what unites the girls who came to this event," – Shchetkina said.

In the photos from the motor parade, you can see that, in addition to the new outfits, its participants showed off new expensive bikes. Among the "iron horses" the famous Harleys prevailed. The cost of such bike, which another "avid motorcyclist" Viktar Lukashenka rides, is $ 55 thousand.

A question arises: where did the authorities, which are constantly calling citizens to "tighten the belts" and keep to the regime of austerity, get the money for expensive motorcycles and outfits for glitzy motor parades?
