Belarus Introduces Visa-Free Regime With China

The agreement was signed at the SCO summit in China.

Belarus and China set a visa-free regime. The corresponding intergovernmental agreement on mutual visa-free regime for holders of ordinary passports was signed today in Qingdao, BelTA informs.

The document was concluded following the results of negotiations between President of Belarus Lukashenka and Chairman of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping. was by Foreign Minister Vladimir Makei signed the agreement from the Belarusian side.

We remindl that earlier visas for Belarusians were canceled in the autonomous Chinese district of Hong Kong and Hainan Island.

The consular fee for a single entry visa to mainland China was $ 30, and a multiple annual visa cost Belarusians $ 90.

Currently, Belarus has a visa-free regime for organized tourist groups from China, and Chinese citizens can use a five-day visa-free regime in the presence of Schengen visas.
