Female informants instead of male ones go to the rallies in Brest now.

The police sent women with video cameras to the rallies against the battery factory in Brest.

Participants of today's protest rally against the battery factory construction have sent Belsat photos showing that for the first time in the history of such events, women are engaged in video recording of the protest.

A few months ago, the police tried to camouflage to look like rally participants with the help of balloons, but chose a wrong color.

Since February, on Sundays, Brest residents come to the central square of the city to feed pigeons. In such a way they protest against the construction of a battery plant near Brest.

Brest residents have collected almost 40 thousand signatures against the construction.

Several hundreds of people used to gather to feed pigeons, however, with the beginning of summer, the rallies became less intensive. Now they are usually attended by a few dozen people. Today there was 35.

The authorities, however, do not listen to people, and plan to launch the potentially harmful production.
