Man Shoots His Ex-Wife And Commits Suicide In Street Of Krychau

A TT gun was found at the scene of the incident.

Investigators and experts dig into the circumstances of the tragedy that happened in Krychau on June 21. According to preliminary data, the man shot his ex-wife on the street and then committed suicide. The State Committee of Forensic Expertise reported the details.

The incident occurred at about 6 pm right on the street. A 58-year-old man shot his former 54-year-old wife in the head, and then shot himself.

An investigative-operational group and experts came to the scene. It is established that both received gunshot wounds to the head and died on the spot.

"During the forensic medical, forensic chemical and forensic histology examinations it is necessary to establish whether there are alcohol, psychotropic substances or narcotic substances in the blood of the man," – an employee of the State Committee of Forensic Expertise explained.

The alleged weapon of the crime, the TT gun and cartridges, was found from among other things on the site. They will also be sent for examination.

Krychau district department of the Investigative Committee instituted criminal proceedings under part 1 of Art. 139 of the Criminal Code (Murder).
