Belarusians Are Among World's Most Grateful Tourists

Our tourists leave the best hotel reviews.

The site rewardexpert.com decided to find out, tourists from which countries are the most grateful, and the most picky, and made two corresponding ratings in the form of the top 10 lists, the news portal Belarus I Mir writes.

To make up those ratings, they have analyzed a huge amount of data: 3.5 million reviews of more than 13,000 hotels in 70 countries left by travelers from 83 countries.

Those of the tourists who rated 5 stars fell into the category of grateful, and those who rated 1-2 stars fell into the category of picky. Then the ratios for tourists of each state were calculated.

As a result, Belarus was on the 5th place among the countries with the most grateful travelers. 49 percent of our 1307 compatriots’ reviews were "five star" ones.

Russia has settled on the first place in this top-10. It is followed by Serbia, Libya, Australia, and after Belarus – Israel, Georgia, Jordan, the United States and Colombia.

Spain bears the palm in the ranking of countries with the most picky tourists. It is followed by Ireland, Iceland, Italy, Bulgaria, Zimbabwe, Denmark, Turkey, Iran and Lithuania.
