Why is the former health minister, who is close to Lukashenka's family, still free?

There are hundreds of thousands of dollars and euros, and hundreds of liters of expensive alcohol hidden in officials’ basements, as well as in banks and bars. The KGB tells us who of the doctors stole and shows how much. More than 60 officials have been detained. The chief doctor of the Vitsebsk regional hospital Anatol Aladzka is among those detained. But so far, the ex-Minister of Health Care, and now the Deputy Prime Minister, Vasil Zharko, who is close to Lukashenka's family, remains at large.

Another hype video from the KGB: hundreds of thousands of dollars of criminal origin found in doctors’ garages. According to the KGB, the main facts of crime are bribes between medical institutions and commercial structures in public procurement. Already more than 60 people have been detained, and 22 businessmen and officials are still at large as a result of "repentance" and compensation for damage. For experts on corruption, this result is the death of intrigue.

"In order to lock up the people of Zharko’s level, Lukashenka's personal sanction is needed, and then we are talking about complete reformatting of spheres of influence. And if we are talking about the people who are now detained, they are of the 20th circle. These people have been appointed, like Zharko. It is rather a signal to the system than an attempt to change the system," – economist Uladzimir Kavalkin says.

The continuation is in the video of Belsat.
