Belarus and Russia are negotiating to provide Minsk with a $ 1 billion state loan in 2019, which will be used to refinance Belarus's foreign debt obligations.

The first deputy prime minister, Vasil Matsiusheuski, reported that to journalists on August 15, TASS informs.

Matsiusheuski specified that in 2019, Belarus is to pay 3.7 billion dollars on external liabilities, 50% of the foreign debt is planned to be refinanced.
