Siarhei Rumas has taken over the post of prime minister from Andrei Kabiakou.

Lukashenka has announced the corresponding personnel decisions, BelTA correspondents report.

Siarhei Rumas, who until now was heading the Development Bank, has become the Prime Minister of Belarus.

Aliaksandr Turchyn has been appointed the first deputy prime minister, until now he was heading the apparatus of the Council of Ministers.

Ihar Liashenka has been appointed deputy prime minister. "He is on a business trip, he is in the know. He will responsible for the issues that Uladzimir Siamashka was engaged in."

Until now, Ihar Liashenka was heading the Belnautakhim Concern. Uladzimir Kukharau has been also appointed deputy prime minister. Up to now, he was deputy chairman of the SCC.

"He will supervise the construction, housing and communal services, transportation. This is the key pillar. And then the government will determine how to distribute these duties," – Lukashenka explained.

Besides, Ihar Piatryshenka has been appointed deputy prime minister, before that he was the ambassador of Belarus to Russia.

He will be responsible for the social sphere – health, education, culture, sports. Dzmitry Mikulionak has been appointed Minister of Architecture and Construction. Pavel Utsiupin has become the Minister of Industry.

"You know the sphere, you have worked there for five years, I think, and it's very good that you have worked in the Ministry of Economics, for your future work, it's just fine," – the dictator noted.

Kanstantsin Shulhan has been appointed Minister of Communications and Information.

"A disciplined, military man who knows the sphere very well, and especially the development prospect, connected with information technologies and the IT sphere," – Lukashenka characterized the new minister.

The Ministry of Economics will be headed by Dzmitry Krutoi. "I would like the Ministry of Economy (you have studied this organization quite well) to get a new breath and adapt to new realities, which is very important," – the dictator said.

We remind that after his visit to Vorsha, Lukashenka threatened to disperse the entire government, which "allows itself blase attitude to his instructions."
