The talks in Sochi are over, but there are no official statements.

Today Lukashenka and Putin met in Sochi, Gazeta.ru reports.

Putin and Lukashenka's talks lasted over 4 hours. The meeting did not end even after six o'clock in the evening.

"Lukashenka and Putin are still communicating," – Dmitry Peskov, the spokesman for the Russian president, told Gazeta.ru. According to preliminary information, no official statements on their results are expected.

BelTA wrote that after the end of the official part the negotiations "continued in the form of a working lunch."

The length of negotiations, as it usually happens, is inversely proportional to their effectiveness. Source in the Kremlin and the White House do not comment on the outcome of the talks. It is unlikely that they managed to agree on all the issues.

As previously reported, the head of the Kremlin and the Belarusian dictator planned to discuss export duties on oil products during the meeting in Sochi, and the Russian ruler said that it was necessary to "make sure they are on the same page."
