Vitsebsk Dwellers Jam For Free Detergent And Soap

Vitsebsk residents literally stormed the ‘boutique’ of second-hand clothes.

On September 25, an event occurred in the center of Vitsebsk, which can hardly be called something outstanding – one more ‘boutique’ selling second-hand clothes from Europe opened its doors, the Vitebsk Courier writes.

The opening of a second-hand store in Zamkavaya Street would have passed unnoticed if it wasn’t for the huge crowd that gathered near the shop.

It cannot be ruled out that such behaviour of the Vitsebsk dwellers was provoked by the promise of the gifts for the first 100 customers. The advertising trick worked fine: the people started queueing at the entrance to the shop since early morning.

The public was diverse – youth looking for a party outfit, fashion addicts who came for branded clothes, and the people who are forced to save on clothes.

The shop opened its doors at 9 am, and the crowd stormed in.

Thus, if second-hand clothes cause such agiotage, we can only congratulate ourselves on having achieved yet another ‘record’.
