Political Scientist: Belarus To Strengthen Espionage Against Ukraine
OLEKSANDR PALIY

The northern border of Ukraine is not as safe as it might seem.

This opinion was expressed in the talk show "Live Air" on the Ukrainian television channel Priamyi by political scientist Oleksandr Paliy.

"What is important for us to understand in this context? The position of Belarus and these 13 countries is completely satellite-friendly with Russia, on the other hand, there are more than 60 countries that voted for the Ukrainian position (Voting on the agenda of the 73rd session of the General Assembly UN question of the occupation of the Crimea and the Donbas - Charter97.org.)

Also, there are many countries that have abstained. This means that they, in fact, also voted more towards Ukraine. Because the issue was resolved in the direction of Ukraine. They did not oppose it," the political scientist said.

According to him, a very interesting situation has occurred with Belarus. Recently there was a long so-called discussion between Putin and Lukashenka, literally three days ago.

"After that, there came a message from Lukashenka that he urgently strengthens the Belarusian-Ukrainian border, saying that weapons would not be delivered to Belarus, etc. That is, they will strengthen intelligence in the border areas with Ukraine, that is, espionage towards Ukraine.

Herein, it remains unknown with which people they plan to do it: Belarusians or Russians. This is a key consequence of all the ups and downs that are now taking place. That is, the north of our country is not so safe as it may seem to someone," Paliy concluded.
