Mahiliou University Students Urged To Participate In Conference In ‘DNR’

The Dean’s Office claims no relation to any similar events.

An ad offering to participate in the conference of the Studying Youth of the Donetsk Republican Small-Scale Academy of Sciences appeared on the information board of the Foreign Languages Faculty at the Mahiliou State University. The event is planned to take place in Donetsk on November 10.

Students of the so-called DNR, LNR, PMR, Russia and the countries of “near abroad” are invited there, Euroradio reports.

“This is not our event, actually, - they say in the Dean’s Office. - It’ss easy to take a picture of anything and write whatever one may wish – it is not seen in the photo whether it was our board or not. We have no relation to this event or to DNR either. We saw this photo, but our students do not participate in such events.”

The university staff add that everyone has access to the informational board so it cannot be ruled out it was just a student joke.
