The Trial of Former Director of the Shklou Agricultural Enterprise Begins

There are 8 people in the dock.

Former director and employees of Shklovski Agroservis are being tried in Shklou. There are 8 defendants in the dock, four of them are in custody. They are accused of abuse of power, forgery and inaction of an official. The main defendant pleaded partially guilty, tut.by informs.

Open Joint-Stock Company Shklovski Agroservice is a part of Agromashservice Holding Company. The organization mainly deals with repairs of complex agricultural machinery, engines, equipment, material and technical supply, production of crop and livestock products, including milk and meat production.

The prosecution says that from January to September 2015, the former director of Shklovski agroservice, Anatoli Makayeu, together with his subordinates, sold 318 heads of cattle to buyers below the cost price. He allegedly caused damage of 43.7 thousand rubles.

In addition, Makayeu persuaded a seller of Shklou district consumers’ society to forge documents as if the meat was sold to the population on demand (the criminal prosecution of the woman is stopped because the statute of limitation has expired). Thus, the organization allegedly complied with the state program of sustainable development of the rural areas for 2011-2015.

There is also an episode of purchase of cattle under an investment agreement with Danone Company, which production is located in Shklou. In August 2015, the former director went on a business trip to Lithuania, Estonia, and concluded a contract for the supply of bred heifers. He selected the cattle on his own. As a result, one third of 250 heads had questionable genuineness of strain. It resulted in an increase in customs duties and VAT. Finally, the damage amounted to slightly more than Br76.77 thousand.

At trial the main defendant in the case, Anatoli Makayeu, pleaded partially guilty.
