‘Basta’: Authorities Set Up ‘Parasitic’ Quota

Depending on the territory and the populated area, the quota makes 5 to 8% of adult population.

This document has been sent from Vorsha, the “Basta!” Telegram-channel writes. It is signed by Deputy Chairman of the district executive committee Mr. Selivanau. The document has been distributed among all condominium associations and housing cooperatives back in the end of December last year. Thery demanded to provide the data related to all citizens registered in the residential premises, with the detailed information about them. It is curious that it happened already after the introduction of the so-called parasitic database. Why did the authorities start urgently collecting new information? The answer turned out to be simple. As our sources in the Vorsha district executive committee reported later, the authorities, as it turns out, have a quota on parasites. Depending on the territory and the populated area, the quota makes 5 to 8% of adult population. Having analyzed the database, they decided in Minsk that the figures were too small in some regions, and demanded to “correct the shortcomings” on an urgent basis. As for the increased attention to the Vorsha district, we wrote about this before. If the “vertical guys” fail the set task, they will face new visits of the Minsk bosses with the subsequent “organizational conclusions.”

However, it’s not the officials-losers who will suffer in the end, but ordinary people. Well, maybe not. Patience has no longer been the strongest feature of the Belarusian people, as the events of the year 2017 revealed.
